X Suspends Conservative Accounts, Raising Concerns About Bias at X.

X (formerly known as Twitter) starts a wave of suspensions targeting mostly conservative and pro-Trump accounts, citing violations of their ‘Hateful Conduct policy.’

This policy explicitly prohibits any form of “hate speech directed at individuals or groups based on attributes such as race, ethnicity, national origin, caste, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, religion, age, disability, or serious disease.”

Among the suspended accounts are several well-known figures responsible for lots of conservative content on the platform, including:

- RightAngleNews

- Captive Dreamer

- Uncensored ai

- @siegfriedmuell

- Sólionath

- @Liberty_Memes

- @amattattack

The accounts listed above are only a fraction of impacted users, with many lesser-known people also reporting similar suspensions.

The removals have now sparked questions about ‘viewpoint diversity at X’, as the X team undermines Elon Musk's publicly stated commitment to free speech. Amplifying broader concerns about censorship, especially in politically sensitive areas.

This comes after an announcement from X's head of product engineering (@nikitabier), who described a "purge" of approximately 1.7 million bots engaged in spamming replies.

Nikita Bier has since received much negative attention from the community over account favoritism, following the recent bans and an incident where he sent a user $10k for a viral post he copied from an Instagram account. Since then, Nikitabier has turned off his comments and started blocking accounts that criticize these actions.

Newly surfaced tweets show Nikita Bier commenting, “So what you're saying is that you're alt-right and you're voting for Trump," from 2020.

And another one where he posts: "Twitter is up 58% since the Trump ban 28 days ago. $TWTR"
