Responsibilities
- Write and file breaking news stories quickly and accurately as events develop
- Monitor wires, official statements, court filings, and other primary sources
- Verify every claim of fact against a primary source before publication
- Update running stories as new facts are confirmed
- Pitch story angles and follow-ups to the news desk

Qualifications
- Excellent news writing: fast, clear, accurate, and plainly worded
- Strong news judgment and sourcing discipline

- Pitch and negotiate sponsorship packages, branded content deals, and ad placements
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with partners and agencies
- Manage the deal pipeline from first contact through signed agreement
- Coordinate with editorial and social teams to deliver on partnership commitments
- Track revenue targets and report on partnership performance metrics
Qualifications
- Proven track record in sales, sponsorships, or business development
- Strong cold-outreach skills; comfortable pitching over email, phone, and in person
- Familiarity with digital media, programmatic advertising, or branded content
